Advantages
The tube bundle of industrial floating head heat exchanger can be extracted to facilitate cleaning of both the tube side and shell side. There is no restriction on the temperature difference between the two media. It can operate under high temperature and high pressure conditions, generally at a temperature ≤ 450°C and pressure ≤ 6.4 MPa. It is applicable for working conditions with severe scaling. It can be used in scenarios where the tube side is prone to corrosion.
Core Structure
Fixed end: Consists of shell, fixed tube sheet and channel head, fully welded and immovable. Floating end (floating head): Composed of floating tube sheet, split backing ring and floating head cover, the whole assembly can slide axially inside the shell. Heat transfer tube bundle: Both ends of all heat transfer tubes are welded to the fixed tube sheet and floating tube sheet respectively. Shell and baffles: Support the tube bundle and force shell-side fluid to flow turbulently for heat exchange. Auxiliary parts including sealing flanges, bolts and supports.
